Biography:
Jizhong Zhu is a professor at the South China University of Technology (Foreign Academician of Academy of Sciences of Bologna Institute, IEEE Fellow, IET Fellow, CSEE Fellow) and a “National Distinguished Expert.” He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from the School of Electrical Engineering, Chongqing University in February 1985, 1987, and 1990, respectively. He is currently the director and professor of the ISESOOC Center of the South China University of Technology, serving as a high-level talent introduced by China. Since 2018, he has acted as the Chairman of the IEEE P2781 and P2783 international standards working groups, a Member of the IEEE SMC Smart Power and Energy Systems Technical Committee, and a Member of the IEEE SMC Standards Committee; he held the Chair of IEEE PES SBLC Loads Sub-Committee, served as Senior Principal Power Systems Engineer at Alstom Grid from 2000-2015, and became an academician-level expert of the Alstom Global Expert Committee in 2013.
Prof. Marc A. Rosen

Biography:
Marc A. Rosen, Ph.D., is a Professor at University of Ontario Institute of Technology in Oshawa, Canada, where he served as founding Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. Dr. Rosen has served as President of the Engineering Institute of Canada and of the Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering. He has acted in many professional capacities, including Editor-in-Chief of various journals and a Director of Oshawa Power and Utilities Corporation. With over 70 research grants and contracts and 900 technical publications, Dr. Rosen is an active teacher and researcher in sustainable energy, sustainability, and environmental impact. Much of his research has been carried out for industry. Dr. Rosen has worked for such organizations as Imatra Power Company in Finland, Argonne National Laboratory near Chicago, the Institute for Hydrogen Systems near Toronto, and Ryerson University in Toronto, where he served as Chair the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace and Industrial Engineering. Dr. Rosen has received numerous awards and honours, and is a Fellow of numerous societies .
Prof. Jia Cui

Biography:
Jia Cui is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Shenyang University of Technology, as well as the deputy director of the Department of New Energy Science and Engineering. His main research areas include interdisciplinary studies such as the energy internet, clean energy consumption in new power systems, electricity markets, and big data in power systems. He serves as the vice chair of the Digital and Intelligent Subcommittee of the IEEE PES Transformer Committee, a member of the Renewable Energy Generation Grid Connection Professional Committee of the China Renewable Energy Society, a member of the Youth Committee of the China Renewable Energy Society, a member of the Energy Storage Technology Committee of the IEEE Power and Energy Society in China, and a member of the Technical Committee of the Liaoning Province Smart Grid Cloud Computing Professional Technology Innovation Center. He has long served as an editorial board member and review expert for top-tier international and domestic academic journals, including *Applied Energy*, *IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid*, *Journal of Chinese Electrotechnics*, *Journal of Electric Power Technology*, *Automation of Electric Power Systems*, and *Power System Technology*. He has hosted and participated in more than 30 projects, including those from the Liaoning Provincial Department of Education, the Liaoning Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and science and technology projects from the State Grid Corporation of China. He has published over 30 research papers in top-tier journals listed in the SCI (Chinese Academy of Sciences). He has been granted over 30 authorized invention patents, as well as 2 software copyrights, and has authored 3 monographs.
Prof. Juan Yan

Biography:
Juan Yan is a professor at Anhui University. She has been selected for the Anhui Province Overseas Talent Youth Program and the National-Level Overseas Young Talent Program. She serves as the Associate Dean of the Sino-French Engineer School and the Deputy Director of the Power Quality Ministry of Education Engineering Center. She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from the Yicai College of Harbin Institute of Technology and completed her PhD at Queen’s University Belfast, UK. In 2016, she joined the University of Manchester to participate in the EU Human Brain Project alongside ARM inventor Steve Furber, and subsequently led research on machine learning algorithms and product development at the University of Warwick and in industry. In January 2023, she was recruited as a fourth-tier high-level talent at Anhui University. Her research focuses on artificial intelligence, source-load forecasting of power systems, probabilistic scheduling, energy storage, virtual power plants, and related smart grid and machine learning technologies. She has led or participated in various research projects totaling over 30 million RMB, including four industrial technology projects and one European Union Council project. Her honors include the Best Invited Speaker Award, Gold Medal at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, Accenture Annual Innovation Award, Queen’s University Belfast Research Plus Award, two Best Conference Paper Awards, the UK-China Science Bridge Scholarship, and a nomination for the West Midlands Women in Technology Impact Award.
Prof. Bo Wang

Associate Dean of the Intelligent Power Grid Research Institute at Wuhan University
Biography:
Bo Wang is the Associate Dean of the Intelligent Power Grid Research Institute at Wuhan University, a Tianshan Distinguished Talent Professor, and a PhD supervisor. He serves as the Deputy Director of the Informatization Specialized Committee of the China Inspection and Testing Society, a member of the Specialized Committee on Safety Risk Assessment of New Power Systems of the China Electrotechnical Society, and is an IET Fellow. As the principal investigator, he has led projects under the National Key R&D Program (2018, 2022), the Science and Technology Support Plan (2014), the National Natural Science Foundation of China (2012, 2014, 2018), as well as key corporate technology projects. He has published four monographs in Chinese and English, authored over 170 papers (ranked among the top 2% of global scientists by Stanford University in 2023–2024, and included in China’s top 100 most influential papers in 2021), holds more than 40 invention patents, and has contributed to the formulation of six standards, including one ITU international standard. He has received honors such as the Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, Guizhou Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, Henan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, the Science and Technology Progress Award of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering, and the International Gold Medal at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions. His research focuses on the digitalized security of power distribution and utilization.
