Biography:
Yixin Yu, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Tianjin University. He has made pioneering international advancements in the methodology of safety monitoring, defense, and control of large power systems, being the first in the world to apply these achievements in practical large power systems. In the area of urban grid optimization planning, he has proposed a series of effective theories, models, and algorithms, and developed a city power grid planning system with independent intellectual property rights, which is fully functional and widely used in China. This system has reached an internationally advanced level, yielding both economic and social benefits, and has promoted the scientific advancement of work in this technological field.

Biography:
Yonggang Min, a professor and a renowned scientist in the field of polyimide and advanced materials for electronic packaging, was awarded the "National Outstanding Youth Science Fund" in 2005. He was selected as a distinguished professor under the Overseas Talent Introduction Program in 2014 and became the project leader of an innovative entrepreneurship team under the "Pearl River Talent Plan" in Guangdong Province in 2017. In 2022, he was elected as a foreign member of the Russian Academy of Engineering. He obtained his Ph.D. in Functional Polymers from the University of Pennsylvania, studying under Nobel Prize-winning professor Alan G. MacDiarmid.
Min has held senior research and development management positions, such as Senior R&D Manager and Technical Director, at internationally renowned companies including IBM, DuPont, ICI, and Saint-Gobain. He served as a Senior Researcher at Ohio State University and Chief Scientist at the Nanotechnology Research Center, and has been appointed as a distinguished professor at several universities, including Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications and Guangdong University of Technology.
He has published over 200 research papers (with approximately 4,000 citations and an H-index of around 40) and delivered more than 100 invited talks at international conferences. He has applied for 310 domestic and international patents, with over 60 granted for inventions. For many years, he has focused on researching the "bottleneck" technologies for the industrial production of high-performance polyimides, dedicating himself to the development of high-performance polymer materials and their technological innovations, product development, and industrial growth in electronic information display and semiconductor electronic packaging (including photoresists and electronic chemical materials).
Prof. Jizhong Zhu

Biography:
Jizhong Zhu is a professor of South China University of Technology (IEEE Fellow, IET Fellow, CSEE Fellow) and “National Distinguished Expert”. He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from the School of Electrical Engineering, Chongqing University in February 1985, 1987, and 1990, respectively. He is currently the director and professor of the ISESOOC Center of the South China University of Technology, serving as a high level talent introduced by China. Since 2018, he has acted as the Chairman of the IEEE P2781 and P2783 international standards working groups, a Member of the IEEE SMC Smart Power and Energy Systems Technical Committee, and a Member of the IEEE SMC Standards Committee; he held the Chair of IEEE PES SBLC Loads Sub-Committee, served as Senior Principal Power Systems Engineer at Alstom Grid from 2000-2015, and became an academician-level expert of the Alstom Global Expert Committee in 2013.
Prof. Marc A. Rosen

Biography:
Marc A. Rosen, Ph.D., is a Professor at University of Ontario Institute of Technology in Oshawa, Canada, where he served as founding Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. Dr. Rosen has served as President of the Engineering Institute of Canada and of the Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering. He has acted in many professional capacities, including Editor-in-Chief of various journals and a Director of Oshawa Power and Utilities Corporation. With over 70 research grants and contracts and 900 technical publications, Dr. Rosen is an active teacher and researcher in sustainable energy, sustainability, and environmental impact. Much of his research has been carried out for industry. Dr. Rosen has worked for such organizations as Imatra Power Company in Finland, Argonne National Laboratory near Chicago, the Institute for Hydrogen Systems near Toronto, and Ryerson University in Toronto, where he served as Chair the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace and Industrial Engineering. Dr. Rosen has received numerous awards and honours, and is a Fellow of numerous societies .
